7:13 04:37
7:13, your fingers in my mouth Fleshy and clean, we're young and we're free now Blooming white flowers wreathed 'round your forehead The moment was ours, but what can restore it And the sleeping shapes turning in your mind Unrealized, catching sparks of light And when they're burning in the dark, loose your heart And I can feel that you're alive, so please come alive 7:13, my body has opened Spaces unseen, too much to hold in And there is a shaking on one silhouette Steadily breaking in the sky's blanket 'Cause the Universe is folds and creases And it's beautiful, this coming to pieces The sweetness now inhibition releases No fear, no doubt as everything ceases As everything ceases, as everything ceases
2.
Globe 04:09
The globe that holds all of the beauty Shakes its swollen swirls into me The rays of light in our lives pouring through and It's beautiful, it's beautiful to think what moves them And we know that we can never give ourselves It breaks my heart to see you hurt for someone else So close your eyes, fall with your arms, and there is meaning Your love in me is everything, is everything The sun is gone; it's crowned to be One stitch upon the silver screen But when its rings stretch to bring us all into it It's beautiful, so beautiful to be included 'Cause in my dreams, you're all you were before And I can't reach, and now you're more; you're more Slow fraying to pick up every piece And I'll save each memory for you to keep 'Cause we know that we can never give ourselves It breaks my heart to see you hurt for someone else So close your eyes, fall with your arms, and there is meaning Your love in me is everything if you just believe

Darkness Lay 05:53
Darkness lay on the horizon Where the clouds parade around you in certain silence Well, look, love, listen: the stars are beginning to bloom And I'll be there with them to fill that emptiness inside of you And gently drifting off to sleep With the petals on your body, you're just out of reach Enveloped in the sky's silver cloth Trembling and shy, I'll help you take it off The frame alone, your eyes reflect it And the night is sewn with ribbons, each one connected. And There's music beyond the falling fountains of the trees And in their dream song, the notes climb ever higher on the sea And there's a place I know, and I will take you there Crystal beads that glow, that linger in the air There's a place I know, so turn your cheek to bare The crystal beads that glow, and they're shooting everywhere And gently drifting off to sleep With the petals on your body, you're just out of reach Enveloped in the sky's silver cloth Trembling and shy, I'll help you take it off

Clouds 04:25
The shining ornaments come flashing through the night And we're adorned with the sacraments, but still we fray and die In the sweet anticipation, hope in healing from afar The singular illumination straight into your heart So when the scales of sound press upon you The trees below, the fountains glow, and I am with you And time is frail now, but I know it will soothe And when the clouds circle around We can't tell if they ever moved See the sunset fall: its long, precise descent It's given it all to twilight's smooth, measured advent And the jubilation, crystal beads and shooting stars The singular illumination straight into your heart So when the scales of sound press upon you The trees below, the fountains glow, and I am with you And time is frail now, but I know it will soothe And when the clouds circle around We can't tell if they ever moved
6.
I hear the first whisper of winter on the wind The glass fragments are fountains; they're overflowing The grey shadow upon your lips And I can taste the light pouring from your fingertips, so Surrender all you've loved and lost Take everything off And now you will see You are no longer beautiful to anyone but me And on your slopes I can't control my trembling fears and hopes Your fingers lead I'll follow to where I don't know As all time unravels around the seam It underlies the world curving toward you and me, so Surrender all you've loved and lost Take everything off And now you will see You are no longer beautiful to anyone To anyone to anyone but me
7.
Gate 04:03
Take my hand and lead me through the gate To promise ourselves the echoes that await Our hearts unbridled, our pain, our fear Cannot be salvaged 'til shutters disappear So stay with me and don't look back 'Cause we are all that we have Stay with me and don't look back 'Cause we are all that we have We are all that we have Close your eyes: my mouth open We turn our love to find it pulsing But I won't speak — I'll watch the silver droplets fall They spread and shiver, and they slip right off But stay with me and don't look back 'Cause we are all that we have Stay with me and don't look back 'Cause we are all that we have We are all that we have And

Please don't forget when your heart is grieving Everything, everything you once believed in And I will follow to where you led 'Cause I know — I know — when your eyelids close The angle of your legs And you're arrayed; you're fragile, tender; you're splayed For me And I'm fallen, illumined And your body convulses, And now we — we've nothing left to give So come above me where latitudes unfurl For the loveliness staging for the world And please keep me yet when each star is spent 'Cause everything, everything it ever meant It's And you're arrayed; you're fragile, tender; you're splayed For me And I'm fallen, illumined And your body convulses And now we — we've nothing left to give So come above me where latitudes unfurl For the loveliness staging for the world Don't you ever give up On everything you've felt, On everything you've loved Don't you ever give up On everything you've felt, On everything you've loved Don't you ever give up On everything you felt, On everything you've loved Don't you ever give up On everything you felt, On everything you've ever loved
10.
Love, what my heart can't hold: forgive it Fading time unfolds and with it Raise your body up and feel me The ornaments above are wheeling In the sweetest empathy / the communion Separation breaking through and I'm dissolving down to what you've been As every light around us moving Love, the end has come to radiate Your crown upon the sun illuminates So turn your cheek twilight's breathing Don't cry; just be with me believing In the sweetest empathy / the communion Separation breaking through and I'm dissolving down to what you've been As every light around us moving Every light around us moving
11.
The lights on line and to the side The flickers red and white, red and white And the sky is knit — its fabrics just beyond your fingertips But the expanse, the expanse is limitless Is limitless is limitless is limitless So when the colors run over your skin You know we've just begun And how our rings will radiate; they will celebrate us then 'Cause everything you are, you'll be, and you have always You have always you have always you have always And with the first star's throbbing pulse The echoes of your heart alive and close And how their orbits dance aflame around your iris And through the fear, through the pain we rise arising So when the colors run over your skin You know we've just begun And how our rings will radiate; they will celebrate us then 'Cause everything you are, you'll be, and you have always You have always you have always you have always been
12.
Come 12:23
Love, come to me — sing your songs of beauty 'Til every memory that I could never save Comes breaking, breaking through me through me Love, wasting all of my sins — pleading to be forgiven And if you are building hearts again Mine is open: mine is open — so come in so come in (just let go just let go just let go just let go) (just let go just let go just let go don't let go) Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I know you're so afraid Of all the feelings you can't control That whither, fall, and fade But when the rods of light wheel across the sky I will be right there beside, and we will share tonight The beauty of this life The beauty of this life The beauty of this life The beauty of this

D:

Well, here we are: residing across town from each other in Springfield, Missouri; attending college at Missouri State University; struggling through the daily quagmire of assignments, colleagues, professors, and general bull shit associated with being a fourth-year college student; working at least one job -- if not two -- that we may or may not tolerate just enough to receive a paycheck and have no more interest in it than that; and exorcising our own demons all the while in whatever meager way we can.

For some of us, the distance and complexity of our lives are more than just that. We don't just live across town from each other; we live across the sea. We don't just attend school; we make the most of it in whatever frustrating and twisted ways we can. We don't just trudge through the malaise of habit; we act spontaneously and courageously. We don't just work for the money; we work because we enjoy what we do and because we enjoy each other. We don't just work through our issues; we inhabit them, and we let them consume us, and we let them burn every possible bridge of escape.

But for all of us, our lives are not simply a collection of discrete moments, some more heavily weighted than others; rather, our lives are trajectories. Our lives are homeomorphisms -- continuous bijections with continuous inverses -- through space and time that transcend the current model and standard of living. We suffer unendingly, but we struggle not in vain. We know that with every painful experience, every let-down, every expectation not met, every heartbreak, and every important memory relegated to the deeper crevasses of our consciousness, we suffer unendingly with the hope that life will ultimately be grand -- with the hope that we too will find ourselves in a place we know.

And I assure you: it will, and we will. Even now in the dark -- when all is lost, and when love seems distant, and when connections are fading, and when the candle of life is flickering -- keep your chin up. Look forward to the next rise. Experience the bitterly sweet nectar of loneliness and acceptance and settling in full.

Because maybe the night seems so dark because the day is much too bright. Because this is a strange paradise. Because inside our hearts, these memories move from room to room and sometimes climb our spines to remind our grieving hearts that in this way they haven't left and that when morning comes, we'll both wake up to the sun. Because we can still believe in joy, even when the world is loss and pain. Because even though I know you're so afraid of all the things you can't let go, they will ultimately wither, fall, and fade. Because when the rods of light reel across the sky, I will be right by your side, and we will share tonight the beauty of this life.

Love you all with my whole heart. Please enjoy.

Z:

Beauty broke you.

And now we — we’ve nothing left to give. We shivered. We swallowed. We shut. Our lives are the pieces we pick up, the ornaments we fabricate from the shattered fragments of our actions and emotions. A floating sea of white, a distant crystalline glow. The persistence of change etched upon our faces, hidden in the strain of our voices — the echo of a melody upon the contours of consciousness.

Let it fall.

Let it fall.

Let it fall.

(I’ve never believed in anything
I’ve never believed
I’ve never believed in

But the ending that will bring the ending.)

Do you believe in participation? And do you believe in us as each other? And will you take this from me? We will disintegrate into unity, and your eyes will see when mine are closed. And your iris will dance aflame with the movements of all the stars and airs and galaxies in that perfect parade of untouchably synchronized movement beyond the boundaries of everything tangential to your heart.

Let it go.

Let it go.

Let it go.

But we will wait. We will wait here together. In the impenetrable spaces that perpetually reside between the movement and the repose, we will wait forever. It’s beautiful — it’s heartrending — the way these memories sew themselves into the fabric of our minds and persist there in wonderful ornamental patterns. And how we can run our fingers over them again and again and again, always to be reminded of how we were once a part of that seam; how we once held everything together; how we once found that pure and intimate communion; how we came across it and embraced it and believed it, and exalted in the joy of our hearts and hands and minds; how we ultimately lost it. Yet we know — we know.

Everything we were, and everything we are, and everything we will be, and everything we ever loved — that's where you’ll find it; that's where you’ll be waiting. That's where you’ll look, and not cry, and not despair, but smile shyly and hesitantly — just as you smiled when you did — and raise your eyes to the ceiling, and exhale softly.

That's where I'll be with you.

And all the stars and seas will sink and sway, until this dream dissolves and fades away.

about

Heidi Klum's Bangs Springfield, Missouri

Patience. Belief. Love.

We are brothers Zach and Dylan Beck.

Heidi Klum's Bangs began as a bedroom psych folk project in early 2009 and soon evolved into a full-on, multi-instrumental indie rock act in the vein of Neutral Milk Hotel, Circulatory System, Beirut, and Sufjan Stevens.

With our ethereal instrumentals and stream-of-consciousness lyrics, we create a musical universe unlike any.
